The Patagonia fire department is excited to announce that we have received a FEMA grant to help us replace a 1980 Seagrave pumper. After extensive planning we have awarded the bid to Pierce Manufacturing. We have a ordered a brand new 2020 Velocity pumper with 1250 gallons of water and a six man cab. This will become the first out apparatus for all fire and rescue related incidents from station 86 in the City of Hermitage and surrounding communities. The membership would like to thank the truck committee for all it's hard work during this very long and arduous process. The next big date to look forward to is in Mid March when the committee travels to Appleton Wisconsin to go over the final drawings. There will be more to come as this process moves forward. |
