Hermitage Town Square Fire

Hermitage Town Square:
The Hermitage Town Square fire is probably the biggest fire that Station 86 has ever responded to. While in it's sister station, (93), first due in area Station 86 is on the "run card" for the first alarm. Originally dispatched as an automatic fire alarm, the Hermitage Police zone car arrived on scene and advised heavy smoke in the area. Engine's 86-321 and 721 responded to the scene.

Engine 86-721 located in the front of the plaza with fire officer Keith Sheurmann operating the pump panel. 721 needed to be refueled on scene while multiple hand lines and deck gun operations were utilized from the unit.
Pictured to the left:Looking at the front of the plaza from the North end you can see some of the equipment utilized in the extinguishment of the fire. Most of the units in this picture have been replaced with brand new equipment. (
